The thrill of air sport events Each and every kind of sport is classified in accordance to the place where the sport is conducted and in accordance to the set of rules and regulations that govern the sport in the first place. Air sports for example are related to the sports which are done in the air. The most common Air sports can be considered ballooning, gliding, parachuting and paragliding. There are other air sports like air aviation; however these sports are more common among the army and military air forces.

Hot air ballooning is a sport that goes back to the 1700's in France. The sport did not develop a lot until the 1960's when the modern balloon was designed and built by Ed Yost. Hot air balloons are more common as a recreational sport and not as a competitive sport; however, there are many events that involve thousands of hot air balloons traveling in the sky which can give its viewers a colorful display and its riders a thrill of looking at the world from the sky. Air balloons do not travel very fast and they are considered to be one of the safest of all air sports.

Most Air sports are considered to be very challenging and you definitely need to have a special kind of personality to be able to accomplish these kinds of maneuvers. In skydiving, the diver is taken in a plane to a height of about 10 thousand feet above the ground and then he is allowed to take a jump and drop down at about 120 mph. There are many more air sports that can be tried out, however, these sports have always been considered to be very dangerous and therefore it is advised that they be taken seriously and under proper training to be safe and secure and to avoid any kind of accidents. Each and every country has their own rules and regulations for air sports events, and although not everybody is capable of enduring the thrills of these sports, they definitely draw great amounts of crowds who love to watch people fly and do all kinds of acrobats in the air.
